We live with our dogs in the beautiful New Forest National Park, Hampshire UK - a glorious place where ponies, cattle, deer and donkeys roam freely so the dogs have to learn from an early age to completely ignore any animals we meet on our walks

Border Collie have been part of our family for over 40 years. Our first was a red and white farm bred collie called Toby back in the late 1970's and he was then followed by our first pedigree Border Collie, a lovely tri bitch called Pippa (Cathanbrae Bianca) who was with us for 14 years.

In the early 90's we met Pam Harris and from her Mobella lines the Tarrynden kennel was established. First on the scene was Mobella Ned Kelly - a great character and much loved by everyone who met him - he introduced us to Crufts for the first time.  Then came our lovely Abby (Mobella Penny Serenade) who produced the first Tarrynden litter on 26 October 1995 from which we kept Biff (Tarrynden Sylvester). Our dogs are much loved family pets as well as having very successful show careers over the years.

Our dogs are bred for health and sound temperament and all are hip scored, eye tested and DNA tested for CEA, CL and TNS

We usually have only 1 litter a year and a few selected Tarryndens have gone overseas and are doing well in Agility, Breed and as much loved family pets
